  • 2 pounds Papa George’s All Natural Reduce Fat Pork Sausage
  • 1 small apple, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 red onion, chopped
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/4 cup apple juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce


Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and form into patties. Place patties in the freezer for 30 minutes to firm up before cooking.

Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat

Cook the burgers on the preheated grill until firm, hot, and no longer pink in the center, about 5 minutes per side. (A meat thermometer should read 160 degrees)
