One of the most simple and effortless things to BBQ in your smoker is the classic fatty. This simple fatty requires a little less effort to make and there isn’t any weaving involved.
Step 1. 1 12 oz roll Papa George’s All Natural Reduced Fat Pork Sausage Roll (Regular, Sage, Hot, Italian, Hot, Maple)
Step 2. Favorite BBQ rub
Step 1: Take a log of reduced fat Papa George Premium Pork Sausage (Regular, Italian, Hot, Sage, or Maple), remove it from the packaging and roll it in your favorite BBQ Rub. Be sure to get good coverage.
Step 2: Smoke this log for a couple of hours between 225-250°F or until you reach the Papa George recommended internal temperature 160°F.The log can also be placed in a grill on indirect heat, with the lid closed.
Step 3: Slice into mouth-watering medallions and prepare to be popular. These are perfect little appetizers and/or breakfast food… they go perfectly on a French baguette with grilled vegetables or bagels with some cream cheese.
